Second Madrilenian Seminar on Empirical Software Engineering

Call for Participation

The Second MadSESE research seminar aims to gather researchers and practitioners from Madrid and neighboring regions to meet and to share their interest in the field of empirical software engineering. If you intend to publish in venues and journals such as TSE, JEMSE, ICSE, FSE, ICSME, ESEM, SANER or MSR, you are more than welcome to participate!

Anyone active in the field are invited to submit an abstract (max. one A4 page) of a talk (to be sent before February 24th to Based on these extended abstracts, the organization will construct an exciting program. The length of the talks will depend on the number of submissions.

Attendance to MadSESE seminars is free, but registration is required, as we plan to have lunch together. If you are interested in attending, please, send an e-mail to before March 1st. The Seminar will take place on March 9th.

Invited Speaker

For the Second MadSESE, we are delighted to have the following renowned keynote speaker:

Michel R. V. Chaudron is a Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Chalmers University and University of Gothenburg.

He was an Associate and Assistant Professor at Leiden University and TU Eindhoven.

Michel has been actively carrying out research in Software Architecting and Component-based Software Engineering, Model-driven development, and UML, and has published over 20 journal papers and over 100 conference papers.

Michel R. V. Chaudron has been involved in several national and international projects and has served on the PC of a number of international Software Engineering conferences.
